An informative and concise description of the three basic implementations of national healthcare.

Most individuals feel an obligation to help the sick and deserve accolades for voluntarily doing so. When government mandates healthcare it is paid for by taxes instead of donations and individual generosity fulfillment is nonexistent. According to Constitution Article I, Section 1 “All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States” — not the Supreme Court nor the people. Even if a majority of the people support nationally mandated healthcare the minority does not and future generations may not. Yet, unless the healthcare law is subsequently repealed, people will indefinitely be deprived of their property via taxes against their will.

The only way to prevent abuse of national medical care is to charge a fee. There is already a shortage of medical personnel and facilities in the U.S. If the number of eligible medical care recipients increase significantly and there is no disincentive (fee), medical care capacity will be overwhelmed. Will the government then force doctors and nurses to work excessive hours and force students to major in medicine to reduce patient backlogs?
