Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution states "Each state shall appoint, in such manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a number of electors . . . ". The states of Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin should counter the Texas lawsuit to conduct another presidential election by convening their legislatures and appointing the electors of the party that won in the election.
