Chuck Baldwin founded the Crossroads Baptist Church located in Pensacola, Florida. He was the pastor for 35 years and then moved the 18 members of his extended family to Kalispell, Montana and founded Liberty Fellowship — a non-501(c)(3) “church”. He believes that complying with restrictions for a nonprofit corporation greatly inhibits the ability to preach moral values. He created the Liberty Church Project that assists religious congregations in establishing or converting to non-501(c)(3) churches.
