"Do you have any idea of the magnitude of the effort to create a third party that can compete with the duopoly? The Libertarian Party has expended funds and effort for decades just to achieve national ballot access in most state elections and has yet to win a national position. As long as single choice plurality voting is prevalent in the states a third party - no matter what the platform - will not be competitive with the duopoly. You either need to take over an existing major party or implement ranked choice voting or proportional representation.
