I'm a constituionist who believes the words in the U. S. Constitution should be interpreted according to what they meant when they were written. I assume that you would brand me as a proceduralist and therefore a Democrat. However, neither the leaders of the Democrats nor the Republicans seem to place importance on complying with the Constitution. The highest priority of each is to gain and then maintain power/control of the government at all levels.
