I'm glad that you asked the question! Using the allocation method is not simple since only Maine and Nebraska total POTUS votes according to congressional districts. POTUS votes are totaled by county but due to districting counties are often split for congressional districts. To avoid totally precincts which would be very time consuming I assumed that a party that won a congressional district would also win for POTUS. This is more valid in 2020 when independent and third party candidates had very little impact. The results are Mr. Biden would have won with 274 electoral votes (50.9%) compared to Mr. Trump's only 264 (49.1%). Mr. Biden won 52.3% of the popular votes cast for the two major party candidates and Mr. Trump won 47.7%.
