I'm revisiting electoral college articles. After two years of deliberation I've decided that the best way to fix the electoral college is for states to utilize ranked choice voting when awarding their electoral votes to a candidate. The instant runoff feature of ranked choice voting will ensure that only a majority statewide popular vote winner will gain electoral votes. This will increase the correlation of an electoral college winner with the national popular vote winner.
