Interesting idea. However, I doubt any POTUS candidate has adequate knowledge to make enlightened decisions on the best course for the various competitive broadcast of working simulations. The POTUS has access to a vast number of experienced personnel and scholarly institutions (think tanks) for decision making. When I was in the military my commander demanded completed staff work on every issue. Members of the staff presented their proposed solutions leaving the only function of the commander to either agree or disagree. We should elect a POTUS with the ability to select highly capable and experienced staff members and utilize that expertise to make decisions. I have never been impressed with Mr. Trump’s knowledge of the Constitution nor demonstration of consistent principles. However, I respect him seeking guidance from the Heritage Foundation and sometimes following their recommendations.

In my opinion, it would be helpful to select a POTUS candidate if the following were presented: objectives consistent with past performance; education and experience justifying qualification for the office; and virtues and morality. Using said criteria, hopefully at least one candidate would not be eliminated.
