Your proposal represents the ultimate instance of gerrymandering that would promote tyranny of the minority by the super majority. Imagine how demoralizing it would be for a partisan minority family or individual to be trapped in a super majority region with no hope of change for decades or a lifetime. The Constitution would not protect their rights just as it does not protect the rights of individuals today due to extreme liberal majority interpretation by Congress and the courts.

For decades residents of northern California have desired to escape the dominance of urban southern California by splitting the state. Recently residents of several southern Oregon rural counties want to escape the dominance of northern Oregon urban dominance by becoming part of Idaho.

We must find a means of fair representation so residents feel that their vote makes a difference.
